Hello and welcome to another one of my training videos.

Today I am talking about the types of posts to be posting on Facebook for better engagement.

So, a recent Quaintly study discovered that video content performs 258% better than any other post type on Facebook, yet businesses still are posting links. I can tell you why that is because we want people to head back to our websites. We want to get them onto a lead magnet. We want to have them come to us.

That is not what they’re on social media for though, they are on social media because they want to be engaged, entertained, inspired or educated.

When you’re buying something, you go directly to the person who’s selling it or you’re searching for it.

You don’t go “Oh look, I might buy a blender today. Let’s jump on Facebook.”No, you go. “I’m going to buy a blender today” and you type into a search engine buy a blender. So often businesses are more interested in direct traffic to their content, than providing video content, which is really quite difficult to promote and create.

However, it’s not entirely impossible with the current technology available on mobile phones at the moment.

So, video generates more content and if you can go live. If you can’t go live do a pre-recorded, I tend to Multi-Purpose mine which I’ll cover in another video.

Also, weekends get the most engagement that’s because there is less competition than on weekdays. So, most people, most businesses are posting their content Monday to Friday when they are open for business and when their staff are available. With using scheduling tools you can post anytime ideally you want to be posting when your audience is online. So jump into your insights tab and find out. Using, you know that little whale shape? Most people’s looks like a whale because it’s set to your own time zone.

It’s got this big hump where your engagement peaks and then it drops down when it’s at its trough. You want to post right at the start of that peak time when you’re going to get engagement, it’s going to get pushed out to your audience. And then it’s going to go through to more people because it’s been engaged in within five or 10 minutes of it being uploaded.

And last but not least, go live, bite the bullet gain some confidence. Get in your genius zone and talk the talk. Have a chat with your audience, struggling for ideas of what to do live. I work with a few different clients at the moment. So I’m going to throw a few of their ideas around just because that’s what I’m working with.

I have a fashion retailer. One of the things I recommended for her to do was go live when she’s unboxing new stock or to put together a fashion show. Can you do that within your business? Go Live when you’re receiving stock or products to stock your shelves with, go live to showcase the stock and give a description of it. Answer questions live as people are asking them.

I like to try and go live on a Wednesday for q and a Wednesday within my business.

If you’d like to join me head over to my Facebook page. Join me for live on Wednesdays

I have an astrologer did live astrology readings she does epic stuff with live astrology readings and live card readings so they’re a bit quicker for her to do card pulls, they are really really popular they increase your engagement, and then your next few posts that you have scheduled out will go out to more people.

I hope that helps you get some more engagement on your Facebook page.
